About Ashley Nastoff
Ashley Nastoff is passionate about assisting abuse survivors and other victims of crime navigate through their civil lawsuits. She strives to help them find their own voice and to be their legal advocate throughout the litigation process. “It is so rewarding for me to be able to help people recover from what is probably the worst thing that has ever happened to them. I enjoy helping victims find the strength to come forward and to realize that none of what happened to them is their fault. I am lucky to get to do the work I do and to make an impact in these people’s lives.”
Helping victims has long been a passion of Ashley’s. In law school, she seized every opportunity to gain real world legal experience working with victims of crime. She worked for two years at the Washington County District Attorney’s office assisting with felony and misdemeanor cases, and gained substantial courtroom experience trying cases and handling hearings. She also participated in the National Crime Victim Law Institute’s clinic, where she worked with an extraordinary group of attorneys to research and draft briefs, motions, and papers dealing with difficult and sensitive issues facing victims of crime.
